The GFWC PLANT CITY JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB will be hosting our 3rd Annual 5K Reindeer Run on December 14, 2019. Our Reindeer Run is going to be an outstanding community event, encouraging family fun and fitness with holiday festivities. Proceeds from this 5k event will benefit The GFWC Plant City Junior's Shoe Project, the primary fundraising campaign for our club, as well as additional community outreach projects.
The Shoe Project provides brand new shoes and socks to over 700 underprivileged students in our community. We partner with 16 local elementary schools every year. Our goal is to increase the impact we will make throughout our community.
ALL 5K finishers will receive a custom Reindeer Run medal.The 5K Reindeer Run will be CHIP Timed by Milestone Race Authority on the equestrian trails of the Alafia River State Park
The 5K will start promptly at 8 am.
Entry Fees are as follows for 5K and Virtual 5K:
$20 Christmas in July until 7/31/19
$25 Aug 1, 2019 until midnight Sept 30, 2019
$35 Oct 1, 2019 until Dec 13, 2019 at 9am when online reg closes
$40 Race day
There is a $5 discount per person available to groups of 4,5 and 6
AGE GROUPS start at 9 and Under to 75 and Over in five year increments.
AWARDS will be presented to the top Male and Female Overall and the top THREE in each age group.
PRE RACE PACKET PICK UP: will be held on Thursday Dec 12, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the GWFC Womens Club of Plant City at 1110 N Wheeler St, Plant City, FL 33563
